Journey of Justice for the Unborn with Lou Engle 2004
2004 Year End Update
This year God’s supernatural grace and love motivated me to do things that I have never done before. I stand amazed at a God who chose to take me on this incredible journey of intercession changing the course of our nation...
A Call to Prayer: Kansas City, MO
I feel as if I will be able to directly influence the elections through prayer.
In June of 2002 I began to sense a calling to the full-time ministry of prayer during the Fire in the Night internship at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City (IHOP-KC). One night I felt the Lord tell me to, first, finish my Associates Degree in Music at Angelina College and then spend at least two years at IHOP-KC on the Night Watch. It stands apart as one of the clearest times I have heard the voice of the Lord. So, upon finishing my degree this year at Angelina College I moved to Kansas City and started praying full-time on the Nightwatch at IHOP-KC.
22 Day Silent Prayer Siege
Planned Parenthood, Kansas City
Another Silent Siege?
Back in December I went for a couple of days to visit my Grandfather and to minister at his church in a small Texas town. During this time I was debating in my heart whether to stay in Kansas City or to go back to Washington, DC and join the intercessors praying silently in front of the Supreme Court. While I was there I had a dream.
Strategy to End Abortion in Four to Ten Years
January 2012
My dear friend, Mark Olson and I are traveling to Washington, DC this weekend
In 2004, my life was changed radically on a prayer journey with Lou Engle that ended with silent prayer in front of the Supreme Court. As we stood we wore red tape over our mouths that said LIFE on it. During that journey, the Lord touched my heart with faith for the ending of abortion as I read Psalm 18, “He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters…He rescued me, because He delighted in me.” I knew God was saying, “I am going to rescue babies from abortion because I delight in them.”

State Laws Beginning to Change

Me, Ben Atkinson, and Micah Meisburg, leaders of Bound4LIFE KC, standing believing that God is going to end abortion
We are in a very serious battle against abortion in our nation. However, there are positive signs that the battle is beginning to turn. Since we began praying in front of the Supreme Court in 2004, abortion has steadily declined. I used to use the statistic that 4,400 babies die every day from abortion. That statistic is now closer to 3,500 babies a day. One baby is too many, so we the battle is not over. However, we can thank Jesus that he has heard our voices and the voices of the unborn even in our silence.
Praying for the Unborn at Hope Clinic
Having a Heart Free From Judgment
May 2011

At the beginning of the month, I went with a team from Bound4LIFE Kansas City to help launch a new Bound4LIFE chapter in Southern Illinois at Community of Faith Church in Marion, Illinois. The church has a long history of Pro-LIFE ministry standing on sidewalks outside of abortion clinics available to counsel women. They also began a home for pregnant mothers who needed a place of refuge. Two years ago, the entire Pro-LIFE ministry ended abruptly. Recently, the pastor and his staff went to Kansas City. They visited our Bound4LIFE KC Silent Siege at Planned Parenthood. They determined to do the same thing in their state. So, our team shared the vision of Bound4LIFE. I shared many of the stories from the first Silent Siege at the Supreme Court in Washington, DC. I also sang my song “Voiceless” from my new CD, “Mighty Warrior”.

In 2004, my life was radically changed on a prayer journey with Lou Engle and seventy other young people fighting for the lives of unborn babies. Led by a prophetic dream, our journey ended in front of the US Supreme Court in Washington, DC. There, for thirty-one days leading up to national Election Day, we stood in silent prayer with red tape over our mouths that said LIFE.
As I stood in silence in front of the court, I heard a song from heaven. God was singing over us, “Your voices will be heard in your silence”. Jesus hears the voices of the unborn even in their silence.

Teaching on Abortion by Lou Engle:
Psalm 18- The Rescue of the Unborn
By Jonathan Baldwin
David wrote Psalm 18 on the day the Lord delivered him from Saul who had been trying to kill him. However, while in Colorado Springs with Lou Engle's 50 days of 24/7 prayer for the 50 states, I began to look at this Psalm from the perspective of the unborn.
Silent Siege: Planned Parenthood Overland Park, KS
April 2005
May 7th-28th Bound4LIFE, Kansas City will be doing a Silent Siege in front of the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Overland Park, KS. Just like at the Supreme Court last year, many from all over Kansas City will stand and pray in front of this clinic with red tape over their mouths that says LIFE from 8 am-8 pm. This will be the first Silent Siege in front of an abortion clinic. Many with Bound4Life are feeling that this could be a flashpoint for our nation and the pro-life movement.
Supreme Court Denies Re-Opening Roe vs. Wade
March 2005
I must sadly report that February 22nd the Supreme Court Justices announced with no comment the denial of Norma McCorvey’s (the Roe of Roe vs. Wade) Writ of Certiorari to re-open Roe vs. Wade. Allen Parker, McCorvey’s Attorney, said, “It is tragic and disappointing that the Court is not willing to consider the aftermath of 32 years of abortion and its devastating affect to women, their families, and our culture. We have a thousand more witnesses than did the original Roe case in 1973.
2005 Year End Report
In June of last year I began full-time ministry as an "intercessory missionary" joining about 400 other missionaries at the International House of Prayer Missions Base in Kansas City. This past year, the Lord has answered many of our cries to heaven as we lift our voices, while others are sleeping, during the Night Watch. I look forward to this next year of watching the Lord move at the sound of our voices as we "humble ourselves and pray".
