God loves us and wants
us to live in heaven with Him!
A.
God made everything.
(Genesis 1:1)

God is holy and
perfect. (2 Cor. 5:21)

God loves you!

For God so loved the world…

…I have loved you with an everlasting love…

…God is love.

Heaven is a wonderful,
beautiful place; and God lives in heaven.
1.
The Father God lives
in Heaven! (Revelation 4:2, 11)

Heaven is free from
pain and suffering.

Revelation 21:4-
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no
more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.

Heaven is beautiful.

II.
But, we all have
a serious problem.
A.
Our serious problem is
sin!
1.
Sin is anything that
we do that displeases God.
a)
Lying, cheating, and
stealing are some of the many ways in which we sin.
2.
Everyone has sinned!
a)
Romans 3:23-
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
3.
You where born already
wanting to sin. (I Cor. 15:22)
B.
We deserve spiritual
death (separation from God) for sinning.
1.
Romans 6:23-
For the wages of sin is death…
2.
Revelation 21:27
Nothing evil will be allowed to enter- no one who practices shameful
idolatry and dishonesty… (NLT)
III.
However, God did not
want you to die a hopeless death without Him!!
A.
So, God sent His
perfect Son, Jesus, to take the punishment that we deserved.
1.
He died, shedding His
precious blood (I John 1:7b) on the cross for you!
2.
But, he rose from the
dead and today He lives in Heaven with God (I Cor. 15:3, 4)
3.
Romans 8:1-
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus…

IV.God can take away all
of your sin.
A.
God can make you
completely clean on the inside.
1.
Psalm 51:7b-
…wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. (NIV)
B.
You must:
1.
Admit (or agree with God) that you have
sinned.
2.
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you.
(John 1:12)
3.
Call on Jesus to forgive you of your sin
and turn from your sin. (Acts 2:21,38)
V.
Once you know Jesus,
He wants you to grow!
A.
Go to church.

Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of

Read your Bible.

Obey God’s Word

I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
